What is Data ?
As per the definition – “facts and statistics collected together for reference or analysis”
Let’s make it more simpler – Data are raw ingredients from which statistics are created.Originally,data is the plural of the Latin word datum,meaning “give”.

Data Fact : Over 70% of the population owns a smartphone.15 million mobile devices would be used by 2020 that generates ample amount of data. Congrats you too are a part of it now! Doesn’t it sounds fascinating how we are contributors unknowingly ?
Let me make it more simpler by breaking this term “Data” into different types for analyzing which will eventually start giving triggers to the brain as soon as we look, same as options we get while ordering @Subway or any of your favorite food stores.People loves choices isn’t it ?

Qualitative Data
Gives information on quality of any entity.
E.g – Customer Service
Quantitative Data
Gives information on data which is countable in nature
E.g – Age
Unstructured Data
Information that is not organized in a pre-defined manner.
E.g-YouTube Feed.
