What is Sin?

Adam and Eve,the two started it all. These two individuals change how mankind would be form from that time on.Sin Entered the world and things began to change. Before Adam and Eve’s decision there was no Sin or death, because of their actions we now have to deal with both. This brings the question of where the original sin came from.We know that God cannot create evil,so it did not came from Him.He gave men free will. From this men went against God and therefore created sin.Because of this we know we have inherited depravity. There are four elements that lead to sin a personal voluntary act.The first to these is to use God as standard. He is perfect and flawless, as we should strive to be.The Second is man as a free personality.God gave us free will to decide our own actions,He did not just make us drones. The third makes sin a live option. It is something that is always there and we can always choose to do what God would have us to do or go against his will. The fourth is a deed committed. We must choose right or wrong. We must make our own decision on what we think sin is.Some Believers also has a “Sin Nature”Because of that, they use such as an excuse to sin and keep sinning. In Other words, they say,”I have a “Sin Nature,” so I can’t help but Sin.”

In your opinion which are the worst ‘sins?’What are the moral and societal implications of these sins? In order to clarify your thoughts put the ‘sins’ in sequential order and explain your ranking. The Seven deadly sins aren’t actual physical acts but emotions that tend to lead to immortal acts.Ranking would be low to high:

1)Sloth

Sloth is an individual, willful act affecting a single person. Sloth should not be confused with depression, which is a medical condition that should be treated.

2)Lust

A lustful individual may ignore other duties and responsibilities. He or She May unwise choices that have negative long-term consequences.Lust ranking is relatively lower because it routinely effects only consenting individuals, its impact on society is hard to measure and probably impossible to regulate.

3)Gluttony

Gluttony meaning to gulp down or swallow, its over the indulgence and over-consumption of anything to the point of waste.

4)Envy

Envy is characterised by an insatiable desire. The sin if envy is a desire for something that someone else has and which they perceive themselves as lacking.

5)Pride

Pride is identified as a desire to be more important or attractive than others, failing to give compliments to others though they may be deserving of them, and excessive love of self.

6)Greed

Greed is like lust and gluttony,a sin of excess.

7)Anger

Anger may be described as inordinate and uncontrolled feelings of hatred. These feelings may manifest as in the denial of the truth, both to others and to on self.Anger May also lead to the desire to seek revenge.Anger is the only sin not directly associated with selfishness or self interest. The sin of anger in my opinion is the most severe.

“Sin is sweet in the beginning, but bitter in the end.”
